Wifi (in the group home)

IT is currently assessing various alternative systems for wifi for our programs.  Some of the key issues include privacy, security, and what if any limitations to access are needed for staff and individuals.

It is absolutely essential to set up a proper username and password to your wifi: neighbors will be delighted to make free use of your network if you don't, and hackers may attempt to access your computer for personal information.



According to reviews, the Asus RT-AC66U is one of the best wifi routers available, but certainly not the cheapest.
