Q. Who are the site administrators?

A. This site is maintained by the Quality Assurance team. They can by contacted by phone at the Resource and Leadership Centre or by email (stories@christian-horizons.org).

Q. When are new stories posted on the site?

A. The site administrators will review Everyday Excellence submissions and feature a story monthly. In the past, we have also featured the People of Excellence award recipients.

Q. How do I subscribe or unsubscribe?

A. If you want to receive a weekly digest email when new stories are posted,  you can subscribe at the bottom of the page. If you no longer to receive notifications when new stories are posted, you can also unsubscribe at the bottom of the page.

Q. What are the Excellence in Action Awards?

A. The Excellence in Action Awards are annual awards to celebrate people who have made an excellence contribution or furthered the Vision of Christian Horizons. More information is available on the Excellence in Action page.

Q. What are the Everyday Excellence Certificates?

A. Another way to celebrate with people as they achieve personal milestones is the Everyday Excellence Certificate. Employees can create and print their own Everyday Excellence Certificate to present to and celebrate with a person they support. More information is available on the Everyday Excellence Certificate page.

Q. I created an award but the certificate isn’t printing properly. What settings do I need to change?

A. To print the award, you must change the following settings:

  • Choose Landscape Printing.
  • Select Colour Printing.
  • In the Page Setup, enable ‘Print Background’.
  • In the Header and Footer fields, leave everything blank. This will allow printing without the url link and date and time stamps.
